By accessing or using the website located at westfieldconcretecontractor.com, or by requesting services from Westfield Concrete, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use our website or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone else who accesses our site or requests our services.
Westfield Concrete is a concrete contractor based in Westfield, MA, offering residential and commercial concrete services including but not limited to driveway installation, patio construction, sidewalks, garage floors, foundations, retaining walls, decorative concrete, and related work. Services are provided within our service area at our discretion. We reserve the right to decline any project request.
All estimates provided by Westfield Concrete are based on information available at the time of the site visit or inquiry. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Prices may change if site conditions, material costs, or project scope differ from what was assessed at the time of the estimate. Any changes to scope after a contract is signed will be documented in a written change order, which must be agreed to by both parties before additional work begins. Verbal estimates are not binding.
Project scheduling is subject to crew availability, permit timelines, and weather conditions. We will communicate scheduling updates as promptly as possible. Concrete work cannot proceed safely in freezing temperatures or during precipitation that would compromise the pour or curing process - we reserve the right to delay or reschedule due to weather without penalty.
If you need to cancel a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled start date may result in a cancellation fee to cover materials ordered or crew scheduling costs, as specified in your written agreement. Deposits paid to secure scheduling may be non-refundable if cancellation occurs within the notice period outlined in your contract.
Payment terms are outlined in each written contract or proposal. Typical arrangements require a deposit upon contract signing to secure scheduling and cover material costs, with the balance due upon project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be specified in your contract. Invoices not paid by the due date may be subject to a late fee as specified in the written agreement. Westfield Concrete reserves the right to place a mechanics lien on the property for unpaid balances as permitted under Massachusetts law.
The customer is responsible for:
Westfield Concrete is not responsible for damage to work caused by the customer or third parties ignoring post-installation care instructions.
Where required by local ordinance or state law, Westfield Concrete will obtain the necessary permits before beginning work. Permit fees, when required, are the responsibility of the customer and will be itemized in the written estimate. The customer agrees to provide access and cooperation for any required inspections.
Westfield Concrete warrants that work will be completed in a workmanlike manner using materials appropriate for the scope and site conditions. Any specific warranty terms, including duration and covered defects, will be stated in your written contract.
Concrete is a natural material subject to cracking, surface variation, color inconsistency, and settling over time, particularly in climates with significant freeze-thaw cycles. Normal weathering, minor surface cracking due to curing, and color variation are not covered by workmanship warranties.
